Student Instructions
1. Open your Scratch account and create a new project. 2. Find "Sprites" either in Scratch or "Free to use" on Google. You will need, a person (with or without a face), smart phone, laptop, computer and a photo frame. You can paint a "camera flash". You will need a world map as a background. 3. Follow the PDF included to code each of the Sprites. 4. Record your message about the "netiquette" around taking photos and putting them online. 5. Record your message about what you understand can happen to content that you post and how it can be distributed on the web. 6. Download the movie file and covert to a mp4. 7. Open to your journal using the 8. Write a to reflect on your learning.
Scratch is a free block coding site https://scratch.mit.edu/ The site is upgrading to Scratch 3.0 in January 2019 moving from flash to HTML5. The instructions on how to code the project is in the PDF as a student template. These were created using an offline editor, but looks exactly the same as the online Scratch 2.0 version. Scratch is also updating the offline editor as well.
