Student Instructions
A good introduction to a story is important to get readers interested. 1. Read the handout about the 6 different types of narrative lead (introduction) writing. 2. Think about which two types would be the BEST way to start your own story. 3. Click to write two different types of narrative leads that would start your story. Make sure you LABEL 🖍 them with which of the 6 types they are. (Yours will probably be longer than the examples.) I will give feedback on these for you to use for your narrative draft. Keep in mind that both of these should be ways to begin the entire story you are writing. Interesting sentences are important, but make sure you are also writing with purpose to support character and plot development.
