Student Instructions

When you observe people from a certain culture, some characteristics, such as dress and the way people greet each other, are easy to see, whereas others are not so easy. That's why culture is sometimes compared to an iceberg, some of which is visible, but much of which is difficult to see, or even completely invisible. 1. Tap add to start. 2. move Select and move the different components of national culture and place them in one of the 3 categories: 1) Things which you can recognise quite easily. 2) Things which may take more time to recognise. 3) Things which a foreigner would only recognise when they have become very familiar with the culture. 3. label Add any other elements which you think are important in defining your national culture. 4. mic Record yourself explaining some of these elements that make up your national culture.
