If you are working on this activity that means you have finished the first fruit shop arrays activity. If you have not then go and finish the first activity then come back here for an extra challenge. The owner of the fruit shop congratulates you on your amazing arrays and explains that they are ready to be placed at the front of the store. She poses another problem though that she thinks you may be able to find an answer to. "Is it possible to split the 24 fruit into two groups and make both of those groups into arrays that do not have any leftovers?" Using your 24 pieces of fruit see if you are able to find a solution. How many different ways can you split the fruit up and still get two correct arrays? Can you split them into two odd groups but still make two arrays that do not have any leftovers? Take photos of your solutions to these questions and send them to the class journal.
