Money Practice 7: Counting Coin and Dollar Collections (short answer)

Use this activity as practice for counting coins and dollar bills. Students will count dollars, quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies to determine the total. Then they will type in the total amount using the dollar sign. This activity uses the assessment tools so that students can check their work before or after submitting the activity depending on your settings. This activity addresses second grade math standard: 2.3.3.2. (Identify pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. Find the value of a group of coins and determine combinations of coins that equal a given amount).
