L6: Creating a Program- Designing Wrapping Paper (AfL)

Student Instructions

Lesson Goal: To create a program that uses count-controlled loops to produce a given outcome (S) Instructions: 1) On page 1, design your wrapping paper, using more than one shape with a count-controlled loop. Use either an annotated sketch or a sketch and algorithm. Include: a) The shapes that you will use, e.g. smallsquare, bigsquare, triangle, hexagon b) Arrows showing which way the shapes will turn c) The number of turns that you will need to complete the pattern, eg ‘turn right 90° 4 times’ 2) On page 2, paste the screenshot of your wrapping paper design. 3) On page 3, highlight all the skills that you are able to do. 4) Click submit check when you're done.
