Student Instructions

In a two-voice or dialog poem, you create two characters and they carry on a conversation in a series of verses. These two speakers hold different perspectives and points of view on a certain situation. This time, instead of going for two different characters, you will be writing about the same one but in different moments in his life: -Mariano Padron when he, following orders, doesn't let Josef and the other refugees disembark in Cuba. -Lito when he decides to jump to the ocean and call the Coast Guards' attention to save his family. 1. Tap the add button. 2. Take down some note you're thinking to include in your poem about Mariano/Lito in these two different situations in his life. Use the templates. 3. Include your note in the next template (sort of Venn diagram). 4. Write your poems. 5. Tap the check to add to our blog.
