This is a step by step S.T.E.M. activity, following the Engineering Design Process. Our aim is to answer the following question: Can we cut a hole in a piece of paper big enough for us to climb through? To start the activity tap add Follow the step by step instructions in the template and make sure to answer the questions along the way. You will need to take photos photo and videos video throughout the activity and add them to the template. Learning Intention: We are learning how to follow the Engineering Design Process. Success Criteria: I can plan before creating. I can test my product and make improvements. I can record my hypothesis. I can record my results.

-Encourage students to tackle this without teacher input as individuals or as a small group. -Get students to plan all ideas before cutting. -Give students the opportunity to cut 2 different ideas before pointing students in the right direction or showing the solution.
