The dinner ended badly because they didn't communicate very well and had trouble understanding how each other felt. The expression and tone we use with others is very important and can make a big difference! TASK: On pages 1 and 2 record yourself saying the given line in the three different tones of voice listed. Then page 3 asks you to give advice to Riley on how she can explain how she feels. Finally, on page 4 it asks you to suggest what Riley's parents could say to show that they care and understand how she feels.
