Student Instructions

This is a step by step science experiment based on the Möbius Strip. Our aim is to answer the following question: Can we create a piece of paper with only 1 side? To start the science experiment tap add Follow the step by step instructions in the template and make sure to watch the embedded videos. You will need to take photos photo and videos video throughout the experiment and add them to the template. Learning Intention: We are learning how to conduct a science experiment. We are learning how to write a science prac report. Success Criteria: I can follow a procedural text. I can predict what I think will happen. I can record my results. I can answer the aim and my hypothesis.

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

-Encourage students to tackle this without teacher input as individuals or as a small group. -Get students to take this further by exploring what happens when they twist the paper more than twice and cutting different pieces. -This template is based on a Science Practical Report. Students could write up a science report after this activity as an extension option.
