Student Instructions
The teacher and the students will have a discussion about paintings from different centuries and artistic styles. For this they will need to use the vocabulary from the mind map, and the focus will not be on accuracy but on the students’ ability to share their ideas successfully. Students are encouraged to compare the paintings between them and to use comparative and superlative forms of the adjectives: “The painting on the left is brighter than the one on the right”, or “Dali’s painting is the strangest of all of the paintings”. The teacher may want to ask: “Which painting looks nicer to you?”, “Which painting looks worse to you?”, “Which is the most attractive painting of all?”.
