#sketchnoting with Roz!

Grades: 6th Grade, 5th Grade
Subjects: Writing, English Language Arts, Reading

Student Instructions

Sketchnoting is a form of visual-notetaking. You draw or doodle your thoughts, observations, or notes in combination with words or text. Sketchnoting is not art. It is a very personal way to document your thought process. You do not have to be an artist to sketchnote! Taking visual notes that make sense to you is what’s important; your sketchnotes don’t have to make sense to anyone else. 1. Tap the add button. 2. Go doodling by drawing and adding label to describe what Roz is like. Show the way she goes changing through the story. What does she learn from the animals? Which way does this help her? 3. Tap the mic and explain your choices. 4. Tap check to add to seesaw
