Student Instructions

We have learned about the art of folding paper from both the Chinese and Japonese. Please watch (youtube.com): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITd733hCqIU. You will learn three origami folds. 1. Hat Fold 2. Kite Fold 3. Samurai Fold Using all three folds create an original origami radical symmetry artwork. You may use any size paper to make your squares. I suggest 3" or 4" squares using any combination of colors. When you are finished, take a picture of your artwork and upload it into THIS ACTIVITY for your grade. You have 2 class periods for this assignment. Enjoy!
