We are learning the first 50 words of palawa kani (Tasmanian Aboriginal Speak) by creating a vocabulary art word wall. 1. Create an artwork featuring the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander language of your local area. You can use digital 📱or paper and art supplies 🎨. 🗺In lutruwita / Tasmania the local language is PALAWA KANI. 2. Go to the 50 words project website (link in template) and find the language of your local area. In Tasmania, our language is PALAWA KANI. 3. Enter the language name and describe your artwork in the Description box. E.g. “The local language where I live is palawa kani (no capitals).
