Student Instructions
1. Click on the picture of the woman holding the Stellaluna book to listen to her read the story of Stellaluna. The video will open in a new tab in your web browser or a new app on your tablet. As you listen to Stellaluna, think about how animal adaptations play a role in the story. What are the adaptations and are they always used the way they're meant to be used? 2. When the story is finished, return to Seesaw. Then click on 3. On the first page, type your answer to the questions about Stellaluna and adaptations. Elaborate by typing three or more sentences. You can add another page if you need more room to type. 4. Go to the next page and use the pencil, pen, and other drawing tools to draw a scene from the story of Stellaluna where animal adaptations are being used, even if they are being used in ways they aren't meant to be. (If you would rather draw the scene on paper, you can use the photo tool to take a picture of your drawing and upload it.) 5. Use the label tool to label the places in your scene where the adaptations are being used. 6. Use the mic tool to record yourself explaining how animal adaptations are being used in your drawing. If they are being used in ways they aren't meant to be, how are they meant to be used? 7. When you are finished with your recording, check over all of your work, and then post your work to your Seesaw journal.
