Google Maps #3 - Explore 🌍and learn about the 🔨🔧 search tools. Google🌏 Maps Let's explore the Google Maps App and discover more about where we live and the country we live in. Go the 🔗https://earth.google.com/web/@1.83264937,3.36334265,-12253.22212457a,26140899.1171217d,35y,-0h,0t,0r/data=OgMKATA Once you have found the page , have an exploration👆 of the Google 🌏Maps site. 🤓Activities: #1- Choose a major city🏢 and a small rural town🏠 in your country to further investigate. ➕Add a placemark on your chosen city and town( you can use a custom colour so it stands out on your maps) and save as project( don't forget to name it correctly). Take a screenshot photo of your chosen location. upload this image to page #1. #2-📏 Let's use the measuring tool ( under the tools option at top of screen or the ruler📏 icon on the top bar of the Google 🌏Maps page). Tap👆 on the icon then select your city that you added a placemark on. Then drag the cursor to your next placemarked town. The distance between each location should be shown. Screenshotphoto this image and upload to page#2. Convert your distance to the three units of measurement. #3- Plot a Path ◽▪◽▪◽Using your City and Town again, find the path icon and tap👆 on it. Starting at your selected city,place your first path point, (make sure you can see your city and town on the screen and locations between) then plot a path to your town. You must follow a road or highway plotting a path to your town. When you reach your desired location take a screenshot photo and upload it to page#3. Record the length of your path in the appropriate space. Convert the distance to the different units of length. When complete check your response to seesaw.
