Student Instructions

This week, we have been working on converting between improper fractions and mixed numbers, and to give you more practice, here are 3 levels of challenge. You can choose your challenge level. If you find one level too easy, move on to the next. SUPPORT: There are support boxes to show you examples of the method on the right of each slide and the second slide has a glossary of the maths vocabulary with some links to videos explaining the different methods. CHALLENGE: Can you complete all of the questions? CHILLI 1: Labelling diagrams to show improper fractions and mixed numbers CHILLI 2: Converting from improper fractions to mixed numbers CHILLI 3: Converting from mixed numbers to improper fractions There are answers on the final slides. Once you have finished a question, go to the answer slide, move the box covering the answer, then go back to your answer and mark it with green pen. If you didn't get it right, you need to look at your working out to find your mistake and edit it in GREEN (change the colour of the pen or text using the colour bar down the right hand side). Once you have finished all the questions and you have marked/edited your work, click check to submit your work.
