Saying thank you to our bodies begins with kindness. Yoga is a practice that exercises both mind and body and it can help us feel happier and healthier. As we exercise our mind and body we will move, explore and say thank you for what our body can do! Instructions: 1. Click on the play button to begin mindful recess with Mary! 2. Click and complete your mindful journal pages. 3. On the first page, press play and sit for a mindful moment. 4. After your mindful moment, you are ready to complete your mindful journal pages! Go to the next page and press play to listen to the instructions. Use your device to take a or gather paper and something to draw with to record the scavenger hunt answers. 5. After you complete your gratitude scavenger hunt, go to the final journal page and press play to listen to the instructions. Think about all the ways you love yourself. Use the or to record your answers. 6. When you've completed all your mindful journal pages, click on the to submit.
Practicing gratitude encourages individuals to feel more positive about themselves and others.
