Student Instructions

Get your snail safely to the rocks where he can hide. Stay away from the crows as they like to eat snails for breakfast! 1. Press on the green check button to start. 2. Select your name from the list. 3. Use the label tool to drag the arrows into the correct order to get your snail safely to the rocks. You can collect 2 treasures along the way, but avoid the crows. 4. Press on check and then check again when you are finished. Don’t forget to sign out of your class when you are done.

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

This activity was completed after the whole class practiced moving a snail around on the whiteboard using a physical set of snails, gems, arrows and crows. We talked about positional language and creating an algorithm (or line of code). This template was adapted from an activity by Mrs. Hosler.
