Student Instructions

Practise your cutting skills. Then show me your work, like this... After you finish cutting Tap add Tap photo Tap photo again to take a picture of your work. Tap check to finish. Note to Parents: Please remind your child how to carry scissors safely, and when using the scissors to keep the thumb up. Children can cut plasticine, paper of various weights, card, straws etc. Ask your child to snip straws into small pieces or roll out playdough and snip it into pieces. You can stop there OR Have some 2-3 inch wide strips of construction paper or cardstock ready and have them cut the strips into 2 or 3 pieces. If you like, thread the straws onto string or pipe cleaners to make necklaces or bracelets, or use the little pieces of paper to make a collage.
