Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

This book is a good read-aloud for many different age groups. The rhyming text and beautiful images will appeal to the youngest readers, and the message in the story provides deep discussion points for older readers. It is suited to new beginnings, like the start of a new school year, but is also a year-round book for helping young people look for positive moments in challenging times. There are a number of different read-aloud versions of this story hosted on YouTube, if needed.
