Student Instructions

We have been learning all about shadows! We know that a shadow is caused when an object blocks light's path. Transparent objects let a lot of light through and doesn't make a shadow. Translucent objects let some light through and make a light shadow. Opaque objects let no light through and make the darkest shadows. You are going to go on a shadow hunt for shadows around your home! 1. Click add 2. Look around your home. Do you see any shadows? Take a photo of the object and its shadow! 3. Is the object transparent, translucent or opaque? Circle pen what type of object it is! 4. CHALLENGE- Write pen label the light source How many shadows can you find? You do not need to complete every page, just find as many as you can. :) 5. Click check
