Making Connections - What is it? Making connections is when you compare ideas in a text to similar ideas in other texts or in life. This can help you understand ideas further or make inferences about new ideas from the texts and stories you are reading. There are 3 ways to do this; text to text, text to self and text to world. Step 1) Read your chapter book for 10 minutes. Step 2) Tap 'Add Response' and work through the pages. Step 3) Tap ' View Instructions' for more information
