Introduce students to Write. Right. Rite. With Jason Reynolds by sharing one of his video prompts and modeling or scaffolding a response with the class. Then create a creative writing routine by allowing students to choose their own creative writing prompt to respond to from the Write. Right. Rite with Jason Reynolds. Students can respond by choosing to: A) Draw/ Type/ Record directly on the Seesaw template B) Handwrite their response on physical paper, then upload/take a picture of their work on the Seesaw template C) Type/Dictate their response onto another program on a device and upload to the Seesaw template Citation: (2020) Write.
