A family of facts is a group of math facts using the same numbers. You use three numbers to find four related facts. Eg, An addition and subtraction family of facts using the numbers 10, 2, and 12 would give the following related facts: 10 + 2 = 12 2 + 10 = 12 12 − 10 = 2 12 − 2 = 10
