Student Instructions
1) Go to slide #2 and click the 🔗 link to view the different background parade images. 2) Take a screenshot of the image you like. Crop the picture and save it to your photos. 3) When your green screen parade picture is finished, add your picture to slide #1
Teacher Notes (not visible to students)
This activity is a tech-integrated extension to go along with the Balloons Over Broadway book. 1) Read and discuss the story with students 2) Have students create and decorate their own balloons 3) Have students take a picture of their balloon in front of a green screen (Easy substitutions: green fabric, green tablecloth, etc) 4) Use this activity to have students choose their parade background and save it to their Photos 5) Use the DoInk Green Screen app to put the students' picture on top of the parade background image and save 6) Upload their picture to slide #1 of this activity when they are finished.
