Carefully follow the directions given on each page. Create two different sized prisms out of two pieces of paper that are the same size. Will the prisms have an equal volume? Create objects with varying volumes from sheets of paper. Compare the volume of similarly shaped objects. Use the formula for volume to determine the volume of a rectangular prism. Use the formula for surface area to determine the surface area of a rectangular prism. Discover which dimensions have the largest impact on volume.
