For Māori Language Week this year, we are setting our goals high. We are going to learn 5 Sentences in 5 Days. These sentences are relevant to everyday life. Each day we will focus on a new sentence. Let's start with Mane's challenge: Our sentence focus today is: Question: He aha tēnei? - What is this? Answer: He ... tēnei. This is a ... 1. Watch and listen to the song - Te Reo Singalong book - He aha tēnei? - NZSL, Te Reo Māori, English. This will help you with pronunciation and also give you new kupu (vocabulary). 2. Tap add to begin your activity 3. Listen to the voice recording on slides 1- 5 asking and answering each question. Then mic yourself asking and answering the question. 4. On page 6 and 7 use the kupu (vocabulary) to ask and answer the questions. Include images in your work and either mic or video yourself. 5. Tap check to submit your work.
