This activity encourages children to reflect on the learning strategies and behaviours )their tools) that helped them during a lesson or task. It promotes metacognition and empowers pupils to recognise and grow their learning habits. Supporting Learners - Model each tool and give classroom examples - eg. I stayed focused by ignoring distractions or I used my own tool - a whiteboard - to help me! - Create an anchor chart in the class showing these strategies with photos of learners using them - Revisit and use regularly to help build reflective routines and awareness of learning behaviours Focus mode enabled
