To use with your students on an interactive board - save under "Sample student" and edit each day to do a progressive calendar, or start a new one each day To use with your students on individual/shared iPads - save under student name and edit each day to do a progressive calendar (make sure to enable student editing), or start a new one each day To use with your students during distance learning - I embedded videos and oral captions with instructions for each page; I also embedded videos of our songs for the months of the year, days of the week, weather, etc To play Monster Squeeze: Have one person (P1) choose a number. They keep that number secret. P2: Is it 4? P1: No, it is bigger than 4. [P1 covers up numbers 0-4 because the secret number is bigger than 4.] P2: Is it 7? P1: No, it is smaller than 7. [P1 covers up numbers 7-10 because the secret number is smaller than 7.] P2: Is it 5? P1: Yes, it is 5! Based off of daily calendar routine used in Everyday Mathematics, Calendar Counts, and Math in Focus. Modify it to fit your instructional needs!
