Version 2: This lesson shows the students through a video found in the orange or yellow tab, how to split the screen so the students can play the virtual instrument while reading the music on the screen. When they click the microphone in Seesaw, it will only record them performing the song. At this time, since you cannot embed the site into the Seesaw activity (this could change in the future), you will not be able to see their virtual instrument play while they record their performance. Since this activity is for elementary, your remote learners will need help when splitting the screen, which is why there are videos to show how to do this. In Version 2, each song has a video that shows how to play the song on the virtual xylophone. This achieves some of the standards of Performing/Presenting/Producing found in the National Core Arts Standards (https://www.nationalartsstandards.org/).
