🎯 I can count a large set of items more efficiently by organizing the items into groups of 10s & 1s. 1) Find a large collection (something that comes in a set of more than 50). Scoop out a handful or cupful -- this is what you will count. (ex-- blocks/Legos, rice, beans, lentils, beads, popcorn kernels, cereal, buttons, small pasta, etc.) 2) Organize your collection into groups of 10s + leftovers. 3) Use the tool to take a picture of the collection that you put into groups. 4) Count how many groups of 10 you made & use the or tool to write that number in the green "groups of 10" column. 5) Use the or tool to write the number of leftovers (or 1s) in the purple "how many 1s" column. 6) Write the total number that you counted in the yellow box using the or tool. 7) Figure out how many more you would need to make 100. Use the or tool to write that number in the blue box. Use button to submit your work when finished.
