Student Instructions

Imagery is used by poets to help readers connect to their poems. By getting readers to think about a poem using their SENSES (sight, smell, taste, touch, and feel), poets hope their readers will make a deeper connection to the topic. Imagery makes readers feel like they are actually IN the poem. DIRECTIONS: 1. Read each poem and decide which senses it appeals to (if you need help, you may ask a friend to rehearse with you). 2. Use the move tool to drag the "sense" labels next to the stanzas in each poem. 3. Use the mic and record yourself reading each poem. 4. Double check: Did you follow all the directions? 5. Click check to submit.
