Standards: compares and orders fractions with denominators of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 (MA3.RQF-01.)

Student Instructions

1. Use the fraction wall image to compare fractions in each question. 2. Complete the sentence frames by filling in the blanks with the correct fractions. 3. For ordering questions, arrange the fractions from smallest to largest using the sentence frame.

This activity is designed to help students visualise and compare fractions with related denominators using fraction walls and Venn diagrams. Encourage students to use the fraction wall image to see which fractions are larger or smaller.
