Student Instructions
Students will construct the tallest and strongest mountain using the materials provided. This mountain is to withstand a rain shower. Students explore materials provided and discuss how these materials can be used to construct a tall, strong mountain. Students use this information to design a mountain using sand, soil and rocks. Students record their design, labelling the materials, explaining how, why and where they are used. Students pour water from the watering can, to simulate rain, directly onto their mountain in the same way that can be determined as a fair test. Students to describe, give an explanation & reflection on the effects of erosion. 1. 2. to record processes of construction & testing. Add clips to iMovie. Save to Camera Roll or tap and take up to 10 photos on iPad Camera Roll. 3. Tap & + Add More, to add all photos or Video. 3. to explain & reflect on their findings & understandings. 4. to add to your journal.
