Student Instructions

Share what you did in class today. 1. Tap the add button. 2. Take a photo. 3. Tap label or drawing to Write (speak) me a letter of introduction, but not an ordinary letter of introduction. Instead, I want you to PRETEND that there are a limited number of seats in this class, and I will be choosing who gets to stay and take the class based on your introductions. In order to be one of the chosen few, you will have to convince me why you should be selected. Be persuasive and help me get to know the real you a little better. (And have fun with it and let your personality shine through!) 4. Tap the check to add to your portfolio.

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

Knowing how to add words to a photo is one of the most useful Seesaw skills for students. Students can visually represent new vocabulary, document an experiment, or describe a math concept. Blending pictures and text helps your students “show what they know” in your classroom, and in Seesaw it’s easy for teachers to see all of the students’ photos in one place. This activity works great as a compliment to whatever your students are already doing in class. To do this activity with students…. 1. Share this activity by tapping the green Share button 2. Students sign in to Seesaw. 3. Students follow the steps to complete the activity.
