Students work in groups of two or three to design a boat that gets the Gingerbread Man across the river without getting wet. Seesaw is used to enhance their reflection during the design, test, rebuild process. Materials needed: - Construction paper Gingerbread Man cutouts - Foil - Cups - Tape - Popsicle sticks - Sink or large tub with water (the river) - Any misc. materials in your classroom for creating Give students an opportunity to reflect after each attempt using photo and voice recording in Seesaw. For example, if their first boat sinks, how can they work together to make it better? What will they try?
