Germination is the process of seed becoming a plant. Seeds are dormant until the right conditions exist. When seeds receive water, they swell. The seed coat cracks and roots grow down. The stem grows up and leaves appear. The first leaves are called seed leaves or cotyledon leaves. 1. Click on the link to watch the video. 2. Click add to open the template. 3.
