1. Pick a number from the pile that your teacher prepared for you.
2. Use the

to put your number in each of the yellow boxes.
3. Begin by looking at Slice A. Think about a Hundreds Chart. Fill in the numbers that would be around your number.
4. Do the same for Slice B, C, and D.
5. Use the 
to turn your work into your teacher.

Teacher, you will need to prepare number cards for students to use for this activity. If this is a center, the cards could be placed in the middle of the work area. This activity could be done many times with a different number each time.
