Picking apart the poem, understanding some of the phrases and figurative language meaning. Read the attached teaching slides and then complete the following tasks: TASK 1 - Finding Winter as a powerful thing Use the highlighting highlighter tool in different colours to show Winter being shown as a powerful thing that are used throughout the poem. Use the voice recorder mic to say why you think these phrases are powerful images of winter, including your most powerful! TASK 2 - Showing Figurative Language Find examples of figurative language in the poem and add them to the table using labels label use the voice recorder mic to explain your choices further. Don't forget to zoom in at the top left on the template to see the sheet more clearly!
