Student Instructions

Hi Kestrels, In today's English lesson you will be learning and about and reminding yourselves of how to use SUBORDINATING CONJUNCTIONS. These are words or phrases which link to parts of a sentence together. They include words like although, because, whereas and many more! (I have put a word mat with lots of examples on this activity to help you with your sentences). I would like you to follow this link https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zwwp8mn/articles/zqk37p3 Watch the video and then have a go at the activity on the website. Once you have done that and you are confident with how subordinating conjunctions work, I would like you to write me three sentences using a different subordinating conjunction in each one. Make your sentences about the Stone Age or Stone Age Boy! Highlight the conjunction you have used in each sentence so that it is nice and clear. Good Luck!
