Build a Heart Word - Letters and Sounds Phase 2 Week 2

Grades: PK-TK, Kindergarten
Subjects: Reading, English Language Arts, Early Literacy
Standards: Blend and segment onsets and rimes of single-syllable spoken words. (CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RF.K.2.c), Distinguish between similarly spelled words by identifying the sounds of the letters that differ. (CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RF.K.3.d), Demonstrate basic knowledge of one-to-one letter-sound correspondences by producing the primary or many of the most frequent sounds for each consonant. (CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RF.K.3.a), Recognize that spoken words are represented in written language by specific sequences of letters. (CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RF.K.1.b), Isolate and pronounce the initial, medial vowel, and final sounds (phonemes) in three-phoneme (consonant-vowel-consonant, or CVC) words. (This does not include CVCs ending with /l/, /r/, or /x/.) (CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RF.K.2.d), Associate the long and short sounds with common spellings (graphemes) for the five major vowels. Use the move move tool to put the correct letters in the purple boxes and build the Sight Word. move 4. Use the move move tool to mark each letter in the sight word with a blue square (for phonics sound) or a like heart for special sounds. mic 5. Use the mic tool and read the word aloud. pages 6. Go to Page 2 pages to complete the next word. check 7. After you finish all of the pages pages, click the green check button check.
