Teachers, save “Rounding Money” to assign it to your class.

Round each amount to the nearest dollar. Remember to look at the dollar column, then look at the number to the right after the decimal. If the number is lower than 5 round the cents down to 0 and keep the dollar the same. If the number is 5 or more change the cents to 0 and round up to the next dollar. Next to each amount, add a label to write your answer. On Slides 2-4 round the money of each item and circle yes or no if you can buy all the items for $10.00.
