Engage your students in a fun and educational sorting activity to distinguish between primary and secondary sources. In this hands-on exercise, students will analyze different types of sources such as letters, photographs, textbooks, and articles to determine whether they are primary sources directly from the time period or event, or secondary sources that interpret or analyze primary sources. This activity promotes critical thinking skills and helps students understand the importance of evaluating sources in research and historical analysis.
