You will have one minute to read the passage. When your partner says "stop," circle the last word you read.​ Count how many words you read in total and then subtract the number of errors you made. This gives you the total words read correctly. Then, your partner will rate your expression as either 1, 2, or 3. Take turns reading, so each person reads the passage twice. Make sure to decode each word correctly and to read with expression.
